This striking and colorful bowl is made with a special production glass combining NeoLavender, Amethyst and Dense White Streaky. After two firings , one to fuse the glass at 1500 degrees and a second to slump it at 1225 degrees, this piece was then sand blasted for a matte look. To seal it, it was fired a third time to 1140 degrees. This final firing also ensures there will never be visible fingerprints. This fused glass piece measures 10” across and 2 1/2” deep. While this bowl is food safe, please no microwave, dishwasher or oven. Sudden changes involving higher temperatures (oven, microwave, dishwasher) can cause thermal shock.
