Through the seaweed this hand painted and screen printed salmon drifts through the blades of undulating Vitrigraph and stringer seaweed. The sea floor is comprised of glass frit.
I used olive green high fire glass enamels in the fishes backs and pearlescent enamels in their bellies to create a more realistic likeness, and a subtle thin pinkish line mid rib.
This fused glass panel measures approximately 9 7/8” x 5 1/4”.
