This Fused Glass Pendant shows the reaction which occurs when mixing certain glass colors and, in this case, silver foil. The shadowing that appears around the leaf’s edge clearly shows a chemical reaction when the silver foil is fired directly onto the Sulfur/Selenium bearing French Vanilla. Adding to it’s unique look, Turquoise frit (Copper bearing) is sprinkled over both the silver and the French Vanilla, leaving a bluish trail on the silver, and a sienna colored trail on the sulfur bearing glass. This pendant measures approximately 1 3/4” x 1” on floats on a silver colored snake chain which measures approximately 23 3/4”.
