I used high fire glass enamels to create Cowboys at Sunset, a screen printed depiction of finishing out the day.
The base glass is a Bullseye Soft Yellow Opal /Deep Red, an unpredictable glass which develops colors with heat work, including blues and purples. This base piece is fused to a backing, a larger piece of black glass with its original organic rolled edge as the top.
This fused glass panel measures approximately 11 1/2” x 8 1/2”-8 3/4”.
