This handmade dish represents several firings while adding frit-based flowers with each firing. I was chasing an idea, a strategy, to arrive at a result reminiscent of Monet’s Garden. I used several different opalescent and transparent glass colors including Purple, Pink, Lavender, Blue, many greens and Opaline and thin whites to give depth. This fused glass dish has undergone several separate firings and is food safe. This dish is gently slumped (sloped) and measures 5” x 8”. Hand Wash recommended. Please no oven, microwave or dishwasher.
